COBRICEL

Cobricel, or canopy in English, is a request from Sant Feliu's City Council to cover the current basketball court. Other than being a sports zone, it will also be a place to hold events since it will be the town's first covered outdoor space. The creation of this 1500 sqm roof will be used to install up to 250 kWp, which will be used to power an array of public buildings within the village.\nThe structure's design responds to the asymmetrical site within which it is located. The main facade, which opens up to a park, is formed by Y-shaped pillars that mimic the trees and blend the building into nature. The opposite facade faces a road and has double the amount of pillars to create a screen of separation.
